Hey parents,

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  My weekend was very busy to say the least. Lisa and I are in the process of moving into our new home so please forgive me for this newsletter being a little later and a touch briefer than usual.  

On Friday we will have a grammar quiz on nouns (singular, plural, common, proper, and possessive).  Please remind your child to bring their journals home, so you can look over their notes with them.  We are also going to have our math test for topic 3 on Friday.  

I hope you have noticed the new homework planners the students brought home with them today.  Cindy Thames purchased these for our class, and I think they are going to be immensely helpful.  Please be sure to sign off on all of the days.
